A day in Park Slope

I met with my girl in Park Slope the other day.
It's been so long time hangin out there ever since I have moved from the old house.

It's just quiet and nice area  and there are so many nice stores, coffee shops, chocolate room etc.

First, we went to the cafe, Tea Lounge. As you can see, they serve tea in a pot and also they serve coffees, sandwiches and sweets.
There were plenty of couches and people were just relaxed enjoying net surfing.

It was funny that the guy sitting in front of Tea Lounge was like oh tag me in the facebook when I was taking this picture. lol

After Tea lounge, we were just walking around park slope area and found some nice little place.

Those chocolates looked soooo yummy! Many of them were from France!!

Tea from Kenya, Africa.

After a little walk from here, we headed to cacao bar which serve chocolates, hot cocoa and coffees.

This Mocca was so tasty!! I loved it.

We enjoyed sunshine in the backyard area.

                                    What a nice day......

I may go to Met museum to check out Alexander Mcqueen's exhibit today.
                                     Yay!

We had a rainy afternoon today but it going to be nice sunny day tomorrow!

                                   Enjoy ur weekend!!

Heat Wave

If you live in East Coast, I would not have to mention this but man.......
It was crazy hot this weekend and I just could not go outside......
104 degree outside and I live in the apartment of the 3rd floor.

My 2 yrs old son wanted to go outside but it was too hot to go outside, so I decided to take him outside
after 7pm. It was still hot and 90 something degree.
Good thing we could chill down in the cold ass grocery store ;)

Anywayz, I don't really have any news lately.....so I guess I'm just going to talk bout my simple dinner. lol

This is veggie pasta with Kabocha, Green pepper and celery.
My son doesn't like veggies, so I always have to cut into small pieces.

I really love the pasta sauce which I purchased at Target.
It's just taste perfect! I don't like thick flavor but this is just taste great.

I hope it gets a lil cooler this week!!!

Chao!

2.Adidas X Jeremy Scott Wings 2012

It was love at first sight.....
It won't come out until 2012 but I may have to go to adidas store in SOHO next year to get this baby!!

and OMG these are too cute!!!

I wish they make pastel color wings for women......

3. Claw Ring
I wish I could afford Pamela love Claw Ring, but I can't........
So I think I have to go back to Williamsburg Flea Market which I have discovered last weekend.

4.OPI Crackle Nail Polish

I wash hands like hundred times in a day since I have 2 yrs old son. That is one of the reason I usually don't wear nail polish but these are something different!!

Perfect Weekend!

It was sooo hot but I enjoyed a lovely sunshine day this weekend.
I had a branch with my family in Williamsburg  ;)

My mother in law wanted to have a family branch since we have not hanged out together for a while.

I did not know where to go, so I went to yelp and searched a good spot.
The place is called Le Barricou.

Le Barricou is a French Style Country Bistro located in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
It was first time going there but my brother in law (he is a cafe/ restaurant critic! lol)
said this was a great spot and I knew it was going to be good.

outfit; H&M tops, uniqlo pants, ZARA bag and Jeffrey Campbell Shoes

On my way to Williamsburg!! Myself and my son.
My latte and breads

They served nice breads and they were soooo good! I am picky about bread since there are tons of great bakery in Japan but this one was great!!  Coffee was okay taste not great great but okay. (I am picky about coffee, too. lol)

I ordered CROQUE MADAME which was deeeelicous!

Bar

This nice lil area was pretty, too!

After the branch, we had a long walk to waterside area of Williamsburg.

Brooklyn Flea
He made us snow corns out of ice and put fresh juice!

I love this one!

I felt like these worth so much.
I think I would have purchased a lot if I was a buyer from Japanese antique shop. lol
FYI, masterYoda was named after a Japanese guy. Did you know that??

What a lovely day!! Every time I come to Williamsburg, I see more condos and nice stores, restaurant and cafe. This place is changing so much!! I found a nice flea market on N 7th St. too and I fell in love with this claw ring. I don't know why I did not purchase the ring......
I kinda regret not buying it and I checked online. I've seen similar design but it was sooo expensive!!
The ring wanted was made by local designer but the one I found online was named Pamela love.

This is the ring from Pamela love but the one from flea market was almost same design, too.
I fell in love with this ring and I think I might have to go back there and purchase next weekend!

After we came home, we headed to a bath room and took a shower.
We watched U.S. vs Japan women soccer on TV, and I was just soooo moved by Nadeshiko Japan.
It was first time for them to go to finals and they won the gold medal.
They are number 1 in the world! After the all tragedy in March 11 this year, they gave us hope and made us feel strong. I am so proud of them and so proud of my country.
Congrats on Japan and thank you to all the Japanese players.
It was such a great game!
