It's coming!

After the earthquake, it is hurricane Irene.....
I hope Irene get weaker when it is going to hit NYC.

I was just thinking about the earthquake and Tsunami in Japan after we had tiny earthquake in NYC.
Almost 6 months has passed since that tragedy but they had earthquake, Tsunami and problem of Nuclear power plant. I love Japan and never thought that kinda tragedy was going to happen.
Still cannot believe it...........

I just hope someday, we find some alternative ways to make electricity instead of nuclear power plant.

Anywayz, I am planning to make tons of food before Irene hit NYC on Sunday!!

Wish me luck....

Love Baking!

I always buy bananas for my son and end up throwing them away because it goes bad sooooo fast especially in summer. I did not want to ruin them, so I decided to bake some banana muffins ;)

Baking has been one of my hobbies ever since when I was like 10 yrs old.
I had been busying taking care of my 2 yrs old son, and have not baked for a while.
It was such a fun and easy baking muffins!!!!

I googled the recipe for banana muffin and allceipe is one of my fav!!

Tadaaaaaa!!

It was super easy and gooooood!! I used cake flour instead of using all purpose flour though.
The recipe I used is here .
I reduced the amount of sugar because I did not want it to be too sweet and it turned out perfect!

Both my hubby and son loved them!

Here are the lists of the goods I listed on ebay

All of them are brand new with tag or box, so please check them out ;)
Tory burch sandal, DVF Dress is such a good deal!

4 Years Wedding Anniversary

Saturday was 4th marriage anniversary of myself and my husband.
I met my husband in Japan when I was 23 and he was 21 yrs old.

We fell in love each other right after we met and started dating.
After a month or so, we've decided to move on to next level..
We started living together! Since he was in the military, we could not see each other often even though we were living in a same apartment.

After 2 years we got married and I got pregnant after 6month of the marriage.

We got through so many stuff ever since, and the life was not easy.
Since my parents was against our marriage, I had no support from my family.

I moved to the U.S. with my husband when I was month 5 of pregnancy.
Since I had serious morning sickness, I had been throwing up everyday....
I had no friends, family in NYC and I was feeling so lonely and depressed.

Our marriage life has been really tough but we got through so many stuff, and I believe our bond is so strong.
I could not survived in the U.S. with new life without my husband and I really appreciate it that he has been with me.

Anyways, we wanted to celebrate our marriage, and we wanted to go somewhere special.
We had dinner at Bond St. in Manhattan. The food was good but so pricey!! lol

My experience at Bond st. was good but I don't think I will come back here because it is ridiculously over priced. lol As a Japanese, they should not charge this much on those quality food. I would recommend En instead of going to Bond st......

Shopping

I went to H&M to buy some clothes for my son last weekend.

I had to use 20% coupon to save ;)

Here are the items I purchased.

This Jacket was so cool.
2 Items and it was like $18 after discount! So cheap!

I got a nail polish of OPI blast for sephora.
Been wanted to use blast or shatter polish and I got gold.

I used it on tiffany blue color which is from MAC Quite Cute collection.

It is kinda hard to see.....
Maybe looks better on black?

This is how it looks of Black Blast on pink OPI nail color.
I just tried it at Sephora store.

I kinda like it!

There are shatter nail polish from China Glaze, too and wondering about the quality.
I have used China Glaze once and it was okay.
OPI is the best for me so far but I am thinking about getting Gelish because it last last longer and easier than Cal gel or other gel nail system.

Good bye

I lost my brother.

He is alive but he is no longer my brother that I know.

He keeps making mistakes and makes my parents sad.

He makes his family sad.

I said good bye when he deceived me few years ago and I had to say good bye again.

It's just so sad and I always wish I had a kind brother but that is impossible.

He does not appreciate what my parents have done to him.

My parents worked so hard to raise us.

My father worked 7 days a week taking no holidays.

So, I this is the last time I say good bye.

Good bye, my bro.

New In My Wardlobe!!

I love fashion and I am crazy about shoes more than any items.

There are few shoe brands that I love such as Jeffrey Campbell, Sam Edelman, Ash Shoes, Nike, Senso Shoes etc.

Ash shoes is Italian brand shoes and their style is one of my favorite!
I was soooo happy and excited when I found their new store in SOHO, NY!

Me and my family was just hanging out in SOHO, then saw Ash sign which made me so happy!!

I think that store is going to be my favorite store in SOHO!!!

OMG! I looooove love love this sneaker. What I like about ASH shoe is that their design is something different and you would not see the exact design like them anywhere else!
It is just unique and special!

Here is the bag which I purchased from Ash Store in SOHO.

This is my one of my favorite color, and it is so simple and cool.
I brought this back to take my son to Brooklyn Children  Museum today.
It is big enough to hold diaper, water bottle, snacks, wallet, and I mean everything!!

I alos purchased a pair of boots but I will update next time....
Just being lazy....lol

Oh yeah, but I have a pic of another Ash sneaker which I really never wore because it was a little small....

Water melon sneaker

I had a wonderful weekend with my family last week.

My mother in law turned 46 years old.
Yes, 46!! Soooo young. lol

My husband is 27, so she had him when she was 19....

Anywayz, I noticed my son was walking funny when we are hanging out in Manhattan on Sunday.
I figured that his sneaker was small, so here it is~

He is going to be wearing this from now on but I was just so surprised how he grew up so fast....

The sneaker he was wearing was pretty much new because I bought it in Japan on May...

Wow. It is just amazing how kids grow up so fast.

A day in Park Slope

I met with my girl in Park Slope the other day.
It's been so long time hangin out there ever since I have moved from the old house.

It's just quiet and nice area  and there are so many nice stores, coffee shops, chocolate room etc.

First, we went to the cafe, Tea Lounge. As you can see, they serve tea in a pot and also they serve coffees, sandwiches and sweets.
There were plenty of couches and people were just relaxed enjoying net surfing.

It was funny that the guy sitting in front of Tea Lounge was like oh tag me in the facebook when I was taking this picture. lol

After Tea lounge, we were just walking around park slope area and found some nice little place.

Those chocolates looked soooo yummy! Many of them were from France!!

Tea from Kenya, Africa.

After a little walk from here, we headed to cacao bar which serve chocolates, hot cocoa and coffees.

This Mocca was so tasty!! I loved it.

We enjoyed sunshine in the backyard area.

                                    What a nice day......

I may go to Met museum to check out Alexander Mcqueen's exhibit today.
                                     Yay!

We had a rainy afternoon today but it going to be nice sunny day tomorrow!

                                   Enjoy ur weekend!!
